Zenxin Organic Morado Garlic are "hardneck" garlic with cloves covered in thick easy to peel skin. The purple colour is indicative of the presence of anthocyanin and this garlic also has a higher allicin content than white garlic. Allicin from raw garlic is associated with the protective anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic effects of one of its component organo-sulphur compounds diallyl trisulfide.
