Ingredients

  • 1 packet of silken tofu
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • ½ tsp of toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp of gochugaru (Korean chilli fakes)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • ½ chilli pepper, chopped

Silken Tofu Recipe

Directions

  • Prepare the silken tofu by patting it down with paper towels to soak any excess liquid. Transfer to a serving platter.
  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, toasted sesame seeds, gochugaru, garlic, green onion, and chilli pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the sauce over the silken tofu and serve immediately.

Cold or Hot?

While this silken tofu recipe is conventionally served cold and right out of the fridge, you can always heat it beforehand if you’d like. You can leave it at room temperature for 20 minutes, poach it for 2 minutes in boiling water, or pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds!
