Since ancient times Singapore has always welcomed visitors and different cultures, and has a wide range of different cuisines as a result. Chinese food has a reputation for having a very wide range of cooking styles, so it's no wonder that there is so many good fusion dishes to try. One really good place to try Chinese food with Singapore flair, as well as straight Chinese food is at Koon Bak Kut Teh in Lavender. A friendly place which specialises in easy eating and style, it is popular for everyday meals, and casual dining. Situated in Lavender Street, one of Singapore's busiest districts, it enjoys a large clientele of travellers and locals, which means the food is always fresh and tasty.
One of the great things about Chinese food is that it is quick, and with this restaurant, the menu is simple and being centrally based means that it is an ideal choice for a quick meal at anytime. It's also good for a Friday night in watching films, and works well for a workday lunch too. The menu has several signature dishes which many customers enjoy again and again. Here's a few ideas:
There's also plenty of other ideas at Koon Bak Kut Teh for informal dining, with a range of vegetable dishes, meat dishes, sides and soft drinks on offer which make this menu very suitable for family dining. Due to the fast pace of life, traffic and queues, it's increasingly hard to juggle a career and family meals, and ordering on line for dining at home has become very popular in recent years. It's a great way to ensure that your family eats healthily and together, cuts down on shopping and preparation and increases quality time together.

Delivery and Food Okay
But unfortunately vendor is not really paying attention to the notes I put.
The food was hot, and the taste was good. A bit too expensive for four small mid-joints of shrimp paste chicken at 6plus dollars.
The bak kut teh is not as tasty as thought and that is rather disappointing since it is the main dish.
Have ordered many times from Koon Bay kit teh but recent order noticed they have increased price it's fine. But the qty for fried dough was reduced!
Will order again
Meat too hard
Meat if ba kut is tough, but soup is tasty not too peppery...
Food is great but not enough packaging so soup spilled. Rider was unhelpful.
Food quite nice! Delivery is fast too!

Great food with ultimate freshness
Very nice n delicious! Must try:)
The Food Taste is OK, but considering the quantity, it is very little and very expensive. For e.g :
Bak Kut Teh = $6.70 only have 2 pieces of meat. 1 big and 1 small.
Meat Patty = $4.70 only 1 thin slice of meat. Not even enough for a baby to eat alone.
Shrimp Paste Chicken = $6.20 only give 4 small pieces of mid-wing joint. No wings, no drumlet.
Braised Meat rice = $5.10 give all the fat meat, no lean meat.
Dough Stick = $1.40 total 7 thin slices only.
Sesame oil Chicken = so dry, not enough gravy given
Ngoh Hiang = taste ok, but $8.20 a roll is considered very expensive.
Overall spend almost $50 for 2 pax also eat not full, must cook Maggi mee to eat.
Came faster than expected, a lot of meat :)
Ordered non-BKT dishes but the dishes were good - braised pork rice, lotus root soup and ngoh hiang were of restaurant quality, and at reasonable prices too.
Why is this restaurant not available consistently throughout the week? Tried ordering the very next day but restaurant was not available for selection.
