About Poke Theory

Poke Theory began as a small dream shared between siblings, and has since become Singapore's beloved poke brand. The story of Poke Theory began with a simple snack made from seasoning the cut offs from every fisherman's catch, served by itself. "Poke," pronounced as "poh-kay," is the Hawaiian verb for "section" or "to slice or cut."

Poke Theory believes that food tastes best when it's made fresh. That's why they receive produce every morning and prepare the dishes in small batches to serve throughout the day, helping to keep our food waste low while making every rainbow bowl to order.

Poke Theory takes a careful and deliberate approach to expansion, growing steadily but quickly. Currently, there are fourteen locations across Singapore, with twelve franchisee-owned stores. They have successfully opened seven new locations during the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2019, Poke Theory opened our first international location in Surabaya, Indonesia.
