About Guzman y Gomez

Guzman y Gomez was first opened in 2006 in Sydney by childhood friends Steven Marks and Robert Hazan, who both grew up in New York. Steven and Robert missed the fresh and authentic flavours of Mexican cuisine they enjoyed in their hometown. Realising the lack of fresh, clean Mexican food in the Australian market, they decided to create their own restaurant called Guzman y Gomez, named in honour of their childhood friends. Their vision was to build a fast food restaurant that served high-quality food with the speed and convenience of traditional fast food. The brand has since grown to over 170 locations in Australia, Japan, United States, and Singapore.

Ms07/07/2026consistent taste. HARD tacos were SOFT - they should provide fresh ones for deliveries!!! Quesadillas were tasty though the very thin fillings made one still hungry despite finishing the whole meal :S
