About Tim Ho Wan

Founded in Mongkok, Hong Kong, Tim Ho Wan was created by Chef Mak Kwai Pui, along with Chef Leung Fai Keung. In 2013, Tim Ho Wan's first international restaurant opened at Plaza Singapura, replicating the same taste as its Hong Kong counterpart. Local can savour the famed Baked Bun with BBQ pork, which boasts a unique texture. Its outer layer is crumbly and fluffy, while its interior is filled with barbecued pork and Tim Ho Wan's special sauce, creating a sweet-salty contrast in taste. The BBQ pork bun is a must-try dish at Tim Ho Wan, along with other favourites such as Steamed Egg Cake, Bean-curd Skin with Pork & Shrimp, and Pan-Fried Carrot Cake. The steamed egg cake is light and spongy, with a pleasant caramelised flavour that lingers on the palate. The Bean-curd Skin with Pork & Shrimp is silky and thinly wrapped, with bursts of flavour from the pork and shrimp in every bite. The line-up is completed with the lightly pan-fried carrot cake. Ray01/05/2025Pork Congee sold out at 1pm? At least have the basic courtesy to inform customer if we want to proceed with the order. Very disappointed! I would have cancel the order or order other item instead!
