About Genki Sushi

Genki Sushi's story originated from the vision of Fumio Saito, a 24-year-old Japanese sushi chef. Saito's dream was to establish a modern sushi restaurant that featured an innovative concept called 'Kaiten' or 'revolving.' In 1968, he introduced the idea of 'Kaiten Sushi' by utilising a conveyor belt to serve sushi, which merged traditional sushi with advanced technology.

Shortly after its introduction, Kaiten Sushi became a popular household name throughout Japan. In 1992, Genki Sushi ventured into the international market.

Currently, Genki Sushi Singapore operates 18 outlets, with more in the works.

Genki Sushi menu covers a wide range of dai man zoku, sides, nigiri sushi, appetiser, gunkan, rice & noodles, roll and handroll, dessert, sashimi, and takeaway sushi platters.
